Career

After studying Human Medicine at the Free University in Berlin, Dr. Gülden completed her specialist training in gynaecology at the University Women’s Hospital at the Free University, now known as the Gynaecology Clinic of the Charité University Medical Centre. Since founding the Endometriosis Centre in 2000, Dr. Halis has focussed on clinical practice and research.

After qualifying as a specialist, Dr. Halis attended Yale University in the USA from 2002 to 2003 on a German Research Foundation (DFG) grant, during which time she specialised in endometriosis and signal transduction.

Dr. Halis has completed training in gynaecological endocrinology and reproductive medicine.

Since 2008, she has worked in private practice at the Berlin Centre for Fertility and Endometriosis (a level II certified endometriosis centre).

Since 2009, Dr. Halis has been Head of the Endocrinology and Reproductive Medicine Division at the Humboldt Hospital (Director: Prof. Dr. Dr. A. Ebert).

In April 2010, she founded the Praxis kinderwunschteam berlin- Kinderwunsch- und EndometrioseZentrum Berlin

Dr. Halis is the author of numerous articles in specialist journals in Germany and abroad.
