Endometriosis

Endometriosis is a benign, but usually very painful and chronic disease affecting young women of reproductive age.

Endometriosis causes massive physical and psychological problems for those affected. After myomas, endometriosis is the most common benign disease in women: according to careful estimates, at least two million women in Germany alone are affected. Nevertheless, this disease is often trivialized: “All women have a little pain” – “After birthing the first child everything gets better” is heard by young women who are unnecessarily put off.
